NAB 2010: Chyron launches new workflow system

nab2010bugChyron has unveiled Quintette, its latest system in a line of newsroom graphics, management and distribution solutions at the NAB Show in Las Vegas.

Quintette features a sophisticated graphics workflow production with “plug and play-out” functionality. The system also includes integrated electronic ordering and graphics asset management and collaborative cloud tools, as well as business intelligence and reporting.

Quintette is built on Chyron’s Lyric real-time graphics technology, with full intelligent transition and 3D animation support. The complete system is pre-packaged with remote system installation, setup and testing capabilities.

The product also integrates with Axis, the company’s newly-updated Web-based graphics creation and ordering system.

The system will retail for $95,000.

Also at the NAB Show, Chyron announced it has been selected to power the graphics at BSkyB for its new Sky Sports News facilities in west London.
