ChyronHego to showcase IP production tools at NAB

ChyronHego will showcase the solutions and workflows that are easing the move to all-IP operations for broadcasters at this year’s NAB Show in Las Vegas.

The spotlight will be on workflows for news and sports production, channel branding and tickers and weather production that integrate ChyronHego’s core product family as well as new and recently acquired technologies.

News production

ChyronHego will demonstrate an integrated end-to-end news production workflow powered by the Camio asset and data management solution.

ChyronHego-HybridVirtualStudios

With Camio as the newsroom control center, the workflow integrates ChyronHego’s Lyric graphics creation and playout system, VidiGo Live Compositor for multicamera TV production, Metacast weather graphics solution and Hybrid virtual studio and robotic camera heads.

This can be key in narrowing the gap between complex technology and the journalists who are doing the actual storytelling.

With the Camio integration, working with advanced virtual graphics and augmented reality can be as easy as a creating a lower third and also comes with a streamlined workflow, reduced costs and more flexibility in storytelling.

For live sports broadcasting, ChyronHego will showcase its Paint telestration and analysis tool, including it’s “illustrated replay” feature — a combination of replay, graphics and analysis to enhance sports coverage.

ChyronHego will also introduce VidiGo Arena for sports arena productions.

Running on standard hardware, this software solution integrates the VidiGo Live Compositor, ChyronHego’s Lyric graphics, Shout social media editor and Hybrid robotic camera head control system. The result is an integrated solution for producing an entire arena show, including camera cuts, digital video effects and social media integration.

Channel branding and tickers

ChyronHego will also demonstrate a deployment for election graphics based on the NewsTicker Elections system from the company’s newest acquisition, Newsroom Solutions.

With NewsTicker Elections, news productions are able to deploy accurate, data-driven, real-time ticker graphics for complete confidence in live reporting of election results.

Also on display will be the company’s new Channel Box Prime channel-branding and playout system, now shipping with complete support for the 64-bit environment and an all-new dedicated rendering engine and scene designer.

Weather graphics

ChyronHego will feature the newest version of Metacast, the company’s weather graphics presentation software.

GUI with surface map precipitation

Metacast now features integration with the Camio graphic asset management solution, giving anyone in the newsroom a modular interface for preparing a full weather graphics rundown.
