WBFF in Baltimore has debuted their new high definition set, graphics, and control room. The new look was designed by Devlin Design Group, as part of their 18 set Sinclair Group project.

WBFF’s set includes 27 monitors, including 5 on the desk alone. The set features a massive rear projection screen and multiple talent locations. The backlit columns add an interesting touch to the overall set. The one drawback of the set is the main anchor background. The background had potential to show a broad view of the city, but instead is a muddy mess which does not contrast well in HD.

The new WBFF set is an interesting design from Devlin Design Group, and it will be interesting to see the firm’s other 16 Sinclair sets.

This set is exactly the same as the other Sinclair station that went HD last month (WSYX and WTTE). The only difference is the backgroud behind the anchor desk. It is of the city.
