‘Eyewitness News’ debuts new set, graphics

WBRE-TV, the NBC affiliate serving Northeastern PA, debuted its new look after weeks of teasing. The move comes after the station also ditched its previous logo on opens for a focus on “Eyewitness News.” Video after the jump.
The new graphics use reds and blues and emphasis the “Eyewitness News” brand.
The graphics also use various flowing elements.
The color palate is also carried out through the set, with red and blue effects behind the anchors. The set features multiple locations with a large home base. The set shoots well and features great depth on camera.
The main anchor desk mixes wood with metal elements. Behind the desk is an interesting setup using two columns at angles with frosted plexiglass and a vertical monitor.
