NewscastStudio has discovered the beta version of Newsy.com, a video-based news Web site is live.

The beta, (UPDATE - The beta has now been passworded), offers video compilations that provide overviews on specific news stories or subjects. An in-studio anchor provides narration over video clips from TV news outlets and then offers the chance to comment.
