We’ve added photos and screen captures of the new set and graphics at WPLG-TV in Miami. The station, owned by Post-Newsweek, recently moved into a new facility and debuted HD newscasts with a splash of color.

Miami station moves into new digs

WPLG-TV, the Post-Newsweek ABC affiliate serving the Miami area, moved into its new building over the week and has a brief “raw video” clip of crews moving boxes into the new facility. There are some shots of the newsroom and other areas of the station. So far the station hasn’t posted photos of the new set, so e-mail contribute@newscaststudio.com if you have any.

Slideshows show sleek new building for Miami’s WPLG

WPLG-TV, the Post-Newsweek station in Miami, Fla., has posted additional photos of its new building in an online photo gallery. This particular batch of photos doesn’t give any looks at the new studio, but does have some shots of the newsroom.

There is another photo gallery available as well. The station is expected to fully move to the new building and originate newscasts from the facility Saturday.

WPLG posts sneak peak at new building, set

Miami’s WPLG-TV, the Post-Newsweek ABC affiliate, has posted a video preview of its new Pembroke Park facility.

The station is already running master control from the new building and expects to move news operations there in about two weeks.

Along with the new building, the station is expected to unveil a new set, and a preview of the new look is available in the video clip.

‘Stained glass’ set coming to Miami
