The “Today Show” is a morning news program broadcast by NBC in the United States. It airs from 7 to 9 a.m. eastern time. Two additional hours are broadcast immediately following on many NBC affiliates, though some chose to delay airing them until later in the day. The show originates from Studio 1A in Rockefeller Center. The current main anchors of “Today,” following the high profile firing of longtime host Matt Lauer, is Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb, with Al Roker providing weather updates and contributing to other segments. In 2017, the third hour of “Today” become known as “Megyn Kelly Today,” hosted by former Fox News host Megyn Kelly, which was canceled after just over a year in October 2018.
