Rushworks planning simulated news set to demo its products at NAB Show 2019

Rushworks is inviting attendees to stop by and be a “guest anchor” at a simulated news set driven by the company’s new VNews news and entertainment production system in Booth SL7406 at NAB 2019.

Other highlights include new, upgraded, enhanced and established solutions that all feature quick setup and super simple operation for professional productions.

“NAB is the perfect opportunity to show visitors first-hand how incredibly easy it is to produce and star in a professional broadcast,” says Rush Beesley, Rushworks president in a statement. “Our VNews includes everything you need and can be operated by just one person. All our solutions are built for any market that benefits from simple set up and easy operation including applications that range from broadcasting to educational environments to courtrooms. For our booth visitors this will be a veritable candy store of sweet choices!”

VNews is a turnkey news and entertainment production system “in a box” that includes all the hardware and software necessary for one person to fill the roles of producer, writer, director, technical director and talent.

It includes up to four PTZ cameras, teleprompters, lights, microphones, computer and rundown software with picture in picture, double-box, chroma key, recording and streaming.

Add an optional Rushdolly — equally at home on the floor or suspended from the ceiling, creeping or strolling – for enhanced studio production value. VNEWS is perfect for K-12, Higher Ed, Broadcasters and Internet TV Stations.

Rushworks’ tiny but powerful A-List Streamster allows anyone to create their own Internet TV channel in no time.

Streamster is the “IP only” configuration of Rushworks industry-leading A-List broadcast automation system and was developed to address the significant increase in demand for OTT content management and distribution. It supports URL and NDI input and output, making this scheduling and playback engine the choice technology for OTT content distribution.

Rushworks’ unique PTX PanTilt heads provide a new dimension of production functionality and versatility.

Available in two sizes, these heads can use VISCA and DMX controllers with your favorite camera or camcorder and remotely control most operations with cameras from AJA, ARRI, Blackmagic, Canon, Datavideo, JVC, Marshall, Panasonic, Red, Sony and others.

Rushdolly is equally at home on the floor or suspended from the ceiling.

The miniature dolly can creep or stroll in a studio or on location and is designed to interface with PTZ and PTX cameras for creating scripted, multi-dimensional moves that integrate all motion axes into your shots. Super simple software allows preset creation and speed-defined transitions.

The newest Rushdolly model incorporates tach pulse motor algorithms to improve accuracy and fluidity of motion.

VDEPO meets the needs of those specializing in the production of on-location video depositions and courtroom support. Lightweight and small, it’s optimized for quick setup and noiseless touch-screen operation.

It has four inputs, supports picture-in-picture, a graphic and video file browser with search and playback and ISO recording of all inputs.

New this year are cropping, highlighting and streaming.
