WVEC, Tegna’s ABC affiliate in Norfolk, Virginia, has switched to a fresh, updated logo design and the group’s new graphics package.
The new logo features the number “13” along with the ABC globe and “News Now” branding inside of a thick box.
A yellow slash cuts off part of the “3” and also serves to separate the number and ABC logo.
In addition to the updated logo, the station also switched over to Tegna’s new graphics package,
The station celebrated with “logo launch party” Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 on an old set.

The redesign was much needed — the station’s old logo, which features a blue circle and “13” offset on top of it, felt rather outdated.
In addition to its on air look, the station also updated its website, social media profiles and building exterior.
