‘The View’ goes ‘over the rainbow’ for pride

ABC’s “The View” is marking Pride Month with special “hot topics” style segments that include vibrant rainbows thanks to the studio’s video walls and lighting cues.

In addition to a wavy rainbow background with the words “The View Celebrates Pride” fed to the video wall behind the co-host table during the segments, the show also switches to a rainbow edged bug.

The set’s other backlit and video panels feature a similar effect, while gold and red accent lighting on the set’s columns and headers complete the look.
