Clear-Com updates Arcadia central station and Eclipse HX intercom system

Contributed Content / Press Release April 16, 2026

Clear-Com announced updates to its Arcadia Central Station and enhancements to the Eclipse HX Digital Matrix System with the latest EHX v15 software. The updates aim to improve scale, flexibility, and network resilience across its intercom ecosystem.

The EHX v15 software introduces ARC (Access, Resource, Configuration), a new architectural model that separates hardware from system behavior. This approach allows intercom systems to adapt dynamically to users, workflows, and environments in real time.

ARC is built on three layers: Access, which provides secure, identity-based system entry; Resource, which enables dynamic allocation of system capacity; and Configuration, which supports role-based workflows across devices. These features are designed to reduce system complexity and costs while expanding functionality.

The Eclipse HX system now supports up to 424 registered beltpacks with 255 online simultaneously, allowing for more complex communication setups. It also offers expanded compatibility with the FreeSpeak wireless family and the latest high-density keypanels.

Updates to the Arcadia Central Station include new IFB support for program audio and monitoring workflows, and support for AES67-enabled panels to enhance interoperability within IP-based systems. Arcadia continues to support various Clear-Com endpoints, including FreeSpeak wireless, HelixNet® wired beltpacks, V-Series™ keypanels, and analog partyline.

Bob Boster, president of Clear-Com, stated the updates represent a change in how intercom systems are designed and deployed, enabling more flexible and scalable communications.

Clear-Com plans to showcase these enhancements at the NAB Show 2026 event. Attendees can visit booth C5807 to see the updated Arcadia and Eclipse HX systems.
