TAG Video Systems integrates with AWS Elemental MediaConnect Router for live video monitoring
TAG Video Systems has announced an integration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Elemental MediaConnect Router.
The integration provides real-time monitoring and quality control for broadcasters using dynamic live video workflows in the cloud.
AWS Elemental MediaConnect Router, which became generally available in November 2025, allows broadcasters to dynamically route live video between sources and destinations within the AWS network. This includes switching between primary and backup feeds, routing regional variants, and managing multiple feeds simultaneously without the need to reconfigure infrastructure for each routing change.
The flexibility offered by the MediaConnect Router introduces increased complexity in monitoring live video streams. TAG Video Systems’ integration addresses this by providing broadcast engineers with instant visibility into all contribution feeds as they move through the routing layer.
At the NAB Show 2026, TAG will demonstrate its integration directly within the MediaConnect Router demo. The system will offer vector scope analysis and TR 101 error reporting for every inbound stream. Changes in routing will be immediately reflected in TAG’s monitoring interface, enabling engineers to track signal-level details without delay.
Golan Simani, director of cloud at TAG Video Systems, said, “Cloud routing gives broadcast teams enormous flexibility. TAG makes sure that flexibility never comes at the cost of visibility. Whatever is moving through your MediaConnect Router workflow, you can see it in real time, at the signal level.”
In addition to the MediaConnect Router integration, TAG will showcase unified monitoring across a full primary linear distribution workflow at NAB. This workflow will include encoding, packaging, and transport stream delivery, incorporating AWS Elemental MediaLive and partners such as Aurora Networks and Zixi Zen Master.
The combined demonstration aims to show a consistent monitoring layer across the entire broadcast chain, from contribution feed to final output. This approach provides engineering teams with the visibility needed to identify and resolve issues before they affect viewers.
Attendees can view the integration live at the AWS booth (W1701) or at the TAG booth (W2323) in the West Hall during NAB 2026.
