Kate Devine Joins WOAI, KABB in San Antonio

Kate Devine is joining Sinclair’s San Antonio stations WOAI and KABB as a reporter.

Devine announced the move on Instagram, saying she is “SO excited” to begin the next chapter of her journalism career in Texas, reported Mike McGuff.

She joins News 4 San Antonio and Fox San Antonio after two years at KAKE in Wichita, Kansas, where she has worked as a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor since October 2024.

Devine is a 2024 graduate of the University of Missouri, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. While at MU, she spent two years at the university’s NBC affiliate KOMU, working in a variety of newsroom roles including live operator, producer, reporter and anchor.
