NBC Sports Boston sets Patriots coverage plans for 2026 season

NBC Sports Boston has unveiled its New England Patriots programming lineup for the 2026 NFL season, including live pregame and postgame shows and a weeknight schedule featuring several of the network’s Patriots analysts.

Coverage begins Sept. 9 as New England opens the season on the road against the Seattle Seahawks in a rematch of Super Bowl LX. NBC Sports Boston will air a 90-minute edition of “Pregame Live” beginning at 6:30 p.m. WBTS Boston’s coverage starts with “Football Night in America” at 7 p.m., followed by the game at 8:20 p.m. (New England Patriots)

Michael Holley will host “Pregame Live” alongside Tom Curran and Phil Perry. Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer and other contributors will also appear during the season.

After games, Holley will host “Postgame Live” with former Patriots linebacker Ted Johnson, Curran and Perry. The program will include analysis, reports from the field, locker room coverage and postgame news conferences.

NBC Sports Boston will also continue its “6 O’Clock Kickoff” lineup at 6 p.m. weekdays:

• Monday: “The Breakdown,” with Perry and Johnson reviewing the previous Patriots game. The program debuts Sept. 14.
• Tuesday: Tom Curran’s “Patriots Talk” Podcast,” a television version of Curran’s podcast featuring a rotating group of guests.
• Wednesday: “The Quick Snap,” returning for a second season with former Patriots captain David Andrews and former quarterback Brian Hoyer.
• Thursday: “Quick Slants,” now in its 17th season, featuring Curran’s analysis of Patriots news and storylines.
• Friday: “Next Pats Podcast,” with Perry examining Patriots and NFL topics with guests.

NBC Sports Boston will supplement the television lineup with its Patriots podcasts, digital reporting and YouTube coverage throughout the season. The Patriots-Seahawks opener will be New England’s first regular-season game played on a Wednesday.
