Construction under way at Fox Cincinnati

WXIX-TV, the Cincinnati Fox affiliate, “nuked” its newsroom last week to begin a massive overhaul.

“Both the studio and the newsroom will be enlarged by about 50% by knocking down walls and moving the control room and the ‘green room’ for ‘Fox 19 In The Morning’ guests. The huge elevated assignment desk is being knocked down to make room for more reporters’ desks.”

The new space will be operational in October or November.
