ITV’s revamped “News at Ten” debuted with a new open and tweaks to its virtual set.

The newcast now uses a similar basic layout for its set, but the 3D virtual elements have been updated to remove a wall and add vertical flat screens that default to a clock motif as well as an additional control room background.

The set is designed by Jago Design with virtual technology by Lightwell.

The open, meanwhile, now makes use of a block design in dark blue, off white and teal along with segments of clock imagery.
