San Fran station getting new graphics

An insider tells blogger Rich Lieberman that KRON-TV, the troubled MyNetworkTV affiliate in San Francisco, is preparing to debut a new graphics package.

The station apparently tested the new graphics package during the first 15 minutes of Friday’s 5 p.m. newscast.

The new package is HD and adds a weather wing to the left side of the screen, the tipster reports, adding “it looks stupid.”
