Maria Bartiromo exits Fox Business after more than 12 years

Maria Bartiromo has left Fox Business Network after more than 12 years.

According to a statement issued by the network, Bartiromo’s exit is effective Sept. 3, 2026.

“We thank Maria for her work over the last 12-and-a-half years and wish her all the best on her next chapter,” the statement read.

Fox did not provide a reason for her departure.

Bartiromo joined Fox Business Network in 2014 as global markets editor and became one of the network’s most prominent personalities. She hosted the weekday morning program “Mornings with Maria,” the weekly “Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street” and FNC’s Sunday political and business program “Sunday Morning Futures.”

Thursday morning’s edition of “Mornings with Maria” was the program’s final broadcast under that name. Beginning Friday, the 6–9 a.m. ET block will become “Mornings with Fox Business,” featuring rotating anchors while the network determines a permanent lineup.

“Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street” will be renamed “FBN’s Wall Street,” with Cheryl Casone hosting this week and rotating anchors taking over afterward. Fox Business said a broader weekday programming schedule update will be announced in the coming weeks.

Jason Chaffetz will host “Sunday Morning Futures” Sept. 6, 2026. Fox said a permanent replacement for Bartiromo will be announced later.

Before joining Fox, Bartiromo spent roughly two decades at CNBC, where she anchored programs including “Closing Bell.” She made television history in 1995 as the first journalist to regularly report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.

Neither Fox nor Bartiromo has announced her next move.
