Waco reporter Dominique Leh resurfaces at Austin station

Dominique Leh has joined Fox-owned KTBC in Austin, Texas, as a reporter, keeping her in Central Texas following her departure from KXXV in Waco, Texas.

Leh made her on-air debut at Fox 7 Austin this week, about a month after leaving KXXV following more than three years with the station, according to a report published on Chron.com.

She announced her departure from KXXV in August 2026, saying Waco had become home during her time at the station and expressing gratitude to viewers and the community.

Leh joined KXXV in August 2023. Before moving to Waco, she spent two years at KBMT in Beaumont, Texas, where she worked as a reporter, editor and producer.

A Pennsylvania native, Leh moved to Texas as a child and graduated from high school in Kirbyville, Texas, in 2017. She attended Lamar University, where she played on the women’s tennis team and earned a broadcasting degree in 2021.

Her departure from KXXV came around the time parent company E.W. Scripps conducted layoffs across its local television division that affected about 200 employees, though it’s not clear if Leh’s departure was connected to those reductions.
