CNN will launch its All Access digital subscription service in the United Kingdom and Canada on Oct. 20, 2026, marking the first international expansion of the company’s streaming and digital news offering.

The expansion will give subscribers in both countries access to live CNN programming, on-demand video and the network’s digital journalism through a single subscription.

All Access combines a selection of live channels from CNN’s U.S. and international networks with a library of CNN Original Series, CNN Films and exclusive streaming programming. Subscribers will also receive unlimited access to articles, audio and video on CNN.com and the CNN app, including reporting and features reserved for paying customers.

It was not clear if the U.K. and Canadian versions might have slightly different content lineups from each other or the U.S. plan due to licensing restrictions.

The service will be available through CNN’s website and select mobile and connected television applications.

The international rollout comes ahead of the Nov. 3, 2026, U.S. midterm elections, which CNN is positioning as a major programming event for the subscription service. Subscribers will be able to stream the network’s election coverage, political reporting and analysis, along with additional digital programming.

The expansion is part of CNN’s broader effort to build a direct-to-consumer business that generates subscription revenue alongside its traditional cable television distribution and advertising operations.

“CNN’s reputation as a premium, trusted name in news is unparalleled around the globe. We’re excited to provide these audiences with a simple way to access our live 24/7 channel and global reporting in one place,” said Alex MacCallum, chief operating officer of CNN Worldwide, in a statement.

“… expanding first to the U.K. and Canada has been our top international expansion priority as we continue to invest in and grow our direct-to-consumer business,” MacCallum added.

In Canada, All Access will cost $7.99 Canadian per month or $79.99 Canadian annually. Subscribers who sign up during the introductory promotion can receive their first year for $59.99 Canadian.

That price, when compared to U.S. dollars, means the Canadian offering is slightly less expensive at about $5.61 U.S. compare to $6.99 U.S. for U.S.-based subscribers.

In the United Kingdom, the subscription will cost 4.99 pounds per month or 49.99 pounds annually, with an introductory annual rate of 37.99 pounds for the first year. That rate translates to about $6.61 U.S., meaning U.K. residents will pay a price more in line with the U.S. rate.

CNN will also provide access through existing television distribution arrangements in both markets. Eligible Canadian pay television customers will be able to authenticate with their provider.
