Springfield station begins set installation

The Sinclair owned ABC affiliate in Springfield, Illinois, started installation this week of a new set by Devlin Design Group.

DDG blogs, “Our scene crew has been hard at work today and the set is coming together rather nicely. The walls are up and other scenic elements, like the video wall components and the frame for the RP Screen, are already installed.”

WICS-TV has posted a complete gallery of the upgrade in progress on its Facebook page.

The station’s temporary set is wedged in a storage area, using parts of the old set.
