The looming government shutdown dominated cable news today and CNN pulled out a countdown graphic near the bug.
The clock is counting down to midnight eastern time — dubbed the “Shutdown Countdown” (catchy, huh?).
MSNBC is also using a countdown bug in the lower left of the screen:
