Amarillo station prepping new look, name

KVII-TV, the Sinclair ABC affiliate in Amarillo, Texas, is unveiling a new set, graphics and name.
The station, which has used the branding “Pro News” since 1967, will switch to the simpler and network-centric “ABC 7 News,” though it will keep its “The Panhandle Spirit” tagline and circle 7 logo.
Also debuting is a new look with a new studio set and new graphics, which it promotes in the rather anti-climatic, drama-filled promo seen here:
