Telestream launches UP.Lens monitoring service for distributed production workflows

Contributed Content / Press Release April 1, 2026

Telestream announced the launch of UP.Lens, a cloud-based multiviewer and monitoring service designed to provide real-time visibility into contribution feeds across distributed production environments. The service is part of the company’s UP platform, which supports ingest, orchestration, review and monitoring for modern production workflows.

UP.Lens includes an “Eyes-on-Glass” multiviewer for real-time visual confirmation and a rewind capability that allows operators to review and analyze issues as they occur. The company said these features are intended to help engineering and production teams monitor and troubleshoot issues before they affect live output.

The service enables operators to monitor multiple incoming streams simultaneously and verify signal integrity. It is designed to identify issues such as packet loss, jitter, black or frozen frames and audio silence.

“UP.Lens was designed to close the observability gap that has emerged as live production workflows move into the cloud. Operators still need the same ‘eyes-on-glass’ confidence they’ve always relied on – but in distributed environments, that visibility is often lost. UP.Lens is a cloud-native solution that automatically deploys those critical monitoring services, keeping pace with today’s workflow operations. In live sports, remote productions, and multi-venue events, where teams are managing multiple contribution feeds under tight timelines, this level of visibility is essential to maintaining broadcast quality and operational confidence,” said Matthew Driscoll, vice president of product management at Telestream.

The company said the growth of IP-based transport protocols, including SRT, has introduced additional complexity in monitoring signal health across distributed infrastructure. UP.Lens extends monitoring to the contribution edge to provide visibility into incoming feeds regardless of origin.

UP.Lens combines multiview monitoring with analytics to detect anomalies in signal behavior. Operators can monitor video feeds, analyze performance metrics and receive automated alerts for issues including network degradation, content quality problems, ad signaling errors and captioning faults.

The platform also includes a stream rewind function that allows operators to review feeds and determine when signal degradation began during live events. Within the UP platform, UP.Capture provides cloud-based ingest for SRT contribution feeds, enabling on-demand channel deployment without additional infrastructure.

Telestream plans to demonstrate UP.Lens at NAB 2026 at booth W1503.
