CBS’s KOVR in Sacramento, California, is the latest of the group’s owned stations to switch to a virtual and augmented reality set.

With KOVR coming online, CBS now has 12 similar virtual studio setups at stations across the country.

Most of these stations use these spaces for weather segments, with some relying more heavily on the studio — even going to the extent of producing most newscasts there.
