Virtual set design used by BBC and its networks for coverage of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China.

The studio featured a virtual view of mountains and ski slopes with seven unique locations for presentation, powered by the Unreal Engine and Vizrt. 

Similar to the 2020 Summer Olympics, BBC’s coverage originated from the United Kingdom using a BBC Sport studio in Salford at Media City.

The design architecture of BBC’s Beijing Olympics studio is based on the BBC Sport Pres 2 studio which launched in early 2021.
