Fox adds flashy bursts of light to All Star game promo

Fox Sports is using a combination of game footage with bright, flashy animated accents on key elements of each scene.

The elements star out subtle — a “line” of light along the stripes of a flag and banner and then becomes more active and dynamic as players high five each other, hit the ball and celebrate.

As the spot continues, everything from bats to entire bodies become outlined in the electrifying look.

The bright lines are also used to form elements that look like speech or thought bubbles to convey communication between players. 

The spot was created by Laundry for Fox Sports under the direction of PJ Richardson & Tony Liu.
