Disney is expanding distribution of its first ESPN-produced Super Bowl, announcing that Super Bowl LXI will stream on Disney+ in the United States and more than 55 international markets.
The game, scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, will also air on ABC, ESPN and ESPN Deportes. It marks the first time ESPN will produce a Super Bowl telecast.
Disney+ subscribers in the United States will have access to both the English- and Spanish-language broadcasts. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will call the game, with Lisa Salters and Laura Rutledge reporting from the sidelines.
Internationally, Disney+ will carry the game in markets including Latin America, Brazil, the Caribbean, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. ESPN’s traditional television networks will also distribute the game in more than 130 countries and territories.
The expanded distribution gives Disney additional opportunities to reach audiences across its television and streaming businesses while increasing the potential exposure for advertisers during one of television’s most-watched annual events.
Disney announced in August 2026 that it had sold out its Super Bowl advertising inventory, with 58 brands across 34 categories purchasing commercial time. Nine of those advertisers will be making their Super Bowl debuts.
According to Variety, Disney is seeking between $10 million and $12 million for a 30-second commercial if previously purchased advertising inventory becomes available.
The company is also bringing two regular-season “Monday Night Football” games to Disney+ ahead of the Super Bowl.
The first will feature the Dallas Cowboys visiting the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, Oct. 26, 2026. A second game will be announced later. Both matchups will remain available on ESPN, ABC and ESPN Deportes, with Disney+ subscribers able to select English- or Spanish-language coverage.
All ESPN “Monday Night Football” games and Super Bowl programming will also remain available through the ESPN app.
The move is part of Disney’s broader effort to incorporate more live sports into Disney+ while encouraging customers to purchase streaming bundles that include ESPN.
Disney+ already offers selected ESPN college football games and “College GameDay.” The company also plans to add Formula E racing coverage in the United States and most international markets later in 2026.
