‘CBS This Morning’

On CBS, “CBS This Morning” did not, as is typical, stray from its “EyeOpener” format at the top of the show, but did feature its coverage of both disasters prominently.

Anchor Charlie Rose kicked off the show proper with Hurricane Maria coverage, using the show’s familiar hurricane branding box on the insert graphics and banners.

For coverage of the Mexico quake, meanwhile, “CBS This Morning” added small animated set of concentric rings to the top tier of its insert graphics.
