Sunday’s edition of “NBC Nightly News,” anchored by Kate Snow, also originated from Studio 1A, normally home of “Today.”
Snow anchored the entire newscast from in front of the studio’s 40-foot curved video wall Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018.
The “Election Center,” as NBC is calling it, debuted during “Meet the Press” earlier that day and had more elements unveiled on “Today” the following day.
NBC fed graphics using the normal “Nightly” look and typography behind her, along with a shot of the exterior of the Comcast Building lit in patriotic colors for the network’s “Democracy Plaza.”
