TSN built its 2026 FIFA World Cup graphics package around the soccer scarf as a symbol shared by fans across countries and cultures.
The scarf wrapped through landmarks, national colors and cultural imagery from Canada, the United States and Mexico across opens, bumpers, transitions and promotional material. The design incorporated FIFA’s geometric “26” system and bright color palette to connect the three host nations within a consistent visual language.
TSN also embroidered the crests of all 48 participating teams into the scarf motif, which appeared in player transitions, team transitions and studio displays. The main open combined 2D design, 3D animation, live footage and motion tracking rather than relying on a fully rendered environment.
