“Good Morning America” moved into Studio C at Disney’s 7 Hudson Square campus in June 2025, marking a departure from Times Square and a major update to the show’s set and production environment.
The space features a mix of hard scenery, virtual set extensions and 65 individual LED segments, including movable double-sided units that allow the studio to be reconfigured for different segments. Designers aimed to create a light, airy look that preserves visual ties to the show’s former Times Square home while adding flexibility for storytelling.
The studio is divided into two connected areas for “GMA” and “GMA3,” with the main anchor desk backed by curved LED walls and virtual backgrounds that blended seamlessly with real scenic elements.
The secondary side of Studio C includes an open area for demos and deeper virtual backgrounds using layered LED panels. The overall design allows the show to update its visuals quickly while keeping the space warm, inviting and visually consistent on air.
