Located at SWR’s broadcast facilities in Mainz and Stuttgart, the “SWR Mainstage” is designed as a multi-purpose space to produce programs across programming genres including news, public affairs and sports, with an eye toward cost-conscious production and digital formats.
Special lighting design and furniture characterize the individual programs and underline their individuality in the shared studio.
Programs including “Marktcheck,” “Landesschau Baden-Württemberg,” “Zur Sache Baden-Württemberg,” “Landesschau Rheinland-Pfalz,” “Zur Sache Rheinland-Pfalz,” “SWR Sport,” “Mathias-Richling-Show” and “Tigerenten Club” utilize Studio A.
