“ABC World News Tonight” correspondent and weekend anchor Tom Llamas was in the anchor chair for David Muir from the broadcast’s normal home and matching topical background graphics, including using wide shots of the in-studio video wall.
All three broadcasts lead with weather coverage, notably flooding on Monday, May 28, 2018. In addition, all three broadcasts included Memorial Day-themed stories as kickers as well as coverage of various holiday related events.
