Motion graphics and branding that debuted with Tony Dokoupil’s tenure on the “CBS Evening News” on Janaury, 5, 2026.

The design mixes elements from the short-lived John Dickerson and Maurice DuBois version of the program, removing the circular elements and returning the broadcast to a more traditional news design. The branding includes the return of Didot, a font CBS first used in 1966.

Musically, the show uses the “CBS Evening News” theme composed by Patterson, Walz and Fox Music Productions and first introduced in 1991, during the Dan Rather era.
