“CBS Mornings” moved to the CBS Broadcast Center on Sept. 29, 2025, the longtime home of the network’s news operations, after several years of broadcasting from Times Square.
CBS News relocated its morning show to Times Square in 2021 as part of a larger revamp, using a space branded as Studio 1515 inside the Paramount Global headquarters at 1515 Broadway.
Now, the show broadcasts from Studio 57, the former home of “CBS This Morning.” The updated studio includes refreshed video walls, wood-toned flooring inlaid with the CBS eye and expanded LED lighting. The updates build upon changes introduced when CBS News 24/7 took over the space in 2022.
The circular anchor desk is now positioned next to the primary video wall, creating a new focal point within the space. A trio of adjacent video walls provides flexible venues for interviews, performances, and feature segments. Virtual set extensions make the studio appear larger, with simulated skylines, stained glass-inspired graphics and abstract design elements.
The refresh also included updates to the show’s graphics package, emphasizing glassy textures and sun-inspired motifs in the open and transitions. Executive producer Shawna Thomas said the design reflected the current tone of the show, prioritizing varied environments for different types of content.
Behind the scenes, guest areas were also upgraded to improve the on-site experience for visitors.
“CBS Mornings Plus,” the third hour of the “CBS Mornings,” also broadcasts from Studio 57 with a similar design.
