On January 5, 2026, ITV’s “Good Morning Britain” moved to ITN’s headquarters in London, sharing a refreshed Studio 1 with ITV News.

The studio formerly housed a chromakey cyc used for the main ITV News broadcasts, such as “ITV News at Ten,” along ITV News London bulletins.

The space includes six movable LED screens, newly shot 8K backdrops and a nearly 100-foot LED wall totaling just under 47 million pixels, including desk displays.

Studio 1 is about two-thirds the size of the former “Good Morning Britain” home at Television Centre.

The project also added a purpose-built “GMB” newsroom and new backstage areas, requiring the removal of decades-old infrastructure in the ITN facility.
