NBC Weather Plus recently debuted a new set, presumably in conjunction with the network’s move from the old MSNBC studios Secaucus to CNBC’s headquarters in Englewood Cliffs. The network relies heavily on chroma key shots, but also has a small standup area. In the old setup, it used to be a printed graphic of a monitor wall; now is a wall with a skyline dura and some small side walls that have flat panel monitors mounted on them.
It seems that the dura is at least a similar to the one that used to be in the standalone studio set at the old MSNBC studios (former home of “Lester Holt Live” and “First Look.” It may even be the same dura that they hauled over from the old set.
