This mistake is not as bad as the Olympic size flub last week, but KING-TV NBC 5 used a mismatched Microsoft logo… in Microsoft’s backyard.
Googling Microsoft, you’ll find the logo in question as the second image result, unfortunately it’s not the logo. The logo uses the Microsoft wordmark and a poorly drawn copy of the Windows icon. Even funnier, they’re displaying the incorrect logo in the default Windows XP image browser, complete with control bar.
Let this be the second warning in under 7 days… double check when you Google a company for a logo!
