San Antonio station ‘reassigns’ LeBron James to Spurs

WOAI-TV, the NBC affiliate in San Antonio, inadvertently aired a lower third identifying Miami Heat player LeBron James as a guard for the Spurs.

The two teams faced off against each other Thursday and the error was part of the station’s coverage of the upcoming game.

The mistake is especially entertaining to me since even I, someone who knows next to nothing about sports, can remember James’ famous jump from Cleveland to Miami a few years back…
