Contributed Content / Press Release June 3, 2026

Telycam announced three new additions to its broadcast-class Explore PTZ camera family, introducing the Explore 100, Explore 300 and Explore 500 models ahead of InfoComm 2026. The new cameras are scheduled to be available in the third quarter of 2026.

The company said the Explore 100 and Explore 300 succeed the Explore SE and Explore XE models, respectively, while the Explore 500 is the latest version of the previous flagship Explore camera.

All three models feature a new brushless DC motor and three-axis synchronization technology designed to improve camera movement and reduce robotic motion. The cameras are intended for applications including sports production, corporate events, education and live production environments.

The Explore 300 and Explore 500 feature a 4/3-inch sensor and 20x optical zoom. Both models also include hybrid autofocus technology and an optical low-pass filter designed to reduce moiré effects when shooting in front of LED displays.

The Explore 100 combines a 1/1.8-inch sensor with 30x optical zoom and is positioned as an entry-level option for broadcast-focused PTZ production.

Connectivity varies by model. The Explore 300 supports 4K at 60 frames per second over HDMI and NDI HX3, 4K at 30 fps over USB-C and 1080p60 over 3G-SDI. The Explore 100 and Explore 500 add NDI High Bandwidth, 12G-SDI with genlock and SFP+ interfaces. All three cameras support SRT, RTMP and RTSP streaming protocols and can record to SD cards.

Telycam also introduced a redesigned web user interface for the new Explore series. The mobile-friendly interface supports remote camera control from phones and tablets and includes four scene presets for storing and recalling image settings.

The company plans to demonstrate the new cameras at InfoComm 2026, which is scheduled for June 17-19 in Las Vegas.

According to Telycam, the Explore 100, Explore 300 and Explore 500 will maintain the same manufacturer’s suggested retail pricing as the models they replace.
