KCCI-TV, the Hearst station in Des Moines, Iowa, fell victim to the inconvenient similarity between the word “shuts” and “shits.”
The station, which was covering a brush fire in Florida, ran a lower third banner reading “Brush fire shits down interstate.”
Whoops.
