CNN Creators has added a new studio and production facility at Media City Qatar in Doha, expanding the multiplatform program’s production capabilities nearly a year after its launch.

The facility combines a studio, newsroom and production center in an open-plan space designed to allow production activity to appear on camera. CNN Creators had operated from a temporary facility since launching in October 2025.

The studio uses multiple remotely operated cameras suspended from a ceiling track, allowing cameras to move around the production area and capture 360-degree perspectives. Its control room supports both vertical and horizontal video output for live streaming and linear broadcasts.

“CNN Creators is unlike any programming initiative CNN has ever produced and we wanted to create a fluid space that would allow the team complete flexibility to experiment and innovate. It’s a space where conversations and ideas can be captured in real time, delivering on the multiplatform concept of CNN Creators with a live show at its heart. It also reflects the dynamism of a newsroom environment, allowing us to capture real conversations and spontaneity, and give a sense of a genuine interaction with our audience,” Meara Erdozain, CNN’s senior vice president of international programming, said.

The facility also includes a kitchen area intended to serve as an additional setting for conversations and other programming.

“From the very beginning our vision for CNN Creators has been to explore presentation techniques and styles that show the evolution of a story from start to finish, and present those in new ways. This space supercharges that capability, so we can really start having some fun breaking down those boundaries,” Andrew Potter, executive producer of CNN Creators, said.

Since its launch, CNN Creators has covered technology, culture and lifestyle topics, including artificial intelligence, digital technology and smart glasses. The program has also contributed to CNN’s coverage of the war in Iran.

CNN Creators airs Thursdays at 11:30 a.m. ET on CNN International and distributes content across CNN’s digital and social platforms.
