MS NOW has launched its first direct-to-consumer membership offering, giving subscribers access to the network’s live television feed alongside exclusive programming, interactive conversations and community features.

The MS NOW Membership officially launched Sept. 9, 2026, after being announced Aug. 19, 2026. The service is available through the MS NOW website and its apps for Apple and Android devices. Additional platforms and devices are expected to be added.

Membership costs $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year. As part of the launch, MS NOW is offering new subscribers a first-year rate of $39.99 plus tax through 11:59 p.m. Eastern on Sept. 30, 2026.

Unlike a traditional standalone streaming subscription focused only on access to the cable network, MS NOW is positioning the offering as a broader membership program. It combines the network’s 24-hour live feed with original shows, personalized news briefings, moderated discussions and direct access to MS NOW anchors and reporters.

The platform is divided into five sections: For You, Watch, Connect, Breathe and Explore. The For You section includes a personalized feed based on the anchors and reporters members choose to follow, along with “The Daily Briefing,” a collection of shorter clips highlighting major stories and analysis.

MS NOW is also offering two live interactive sessions each day. At noon Eastern, members can participate in Q&As featuring network personalities, while the 6 p.m. Eastern “On the Ground With …” session features reporters covering major stories. The daily lineup includes Rachel Maddow on Mondays, the “Morning Joe” team on Tuesdays, Ali Velshi and Stephanie Ruhle on Wednesdays, Michael Steele on Thursdays, Jen Psaki on Fridays, members of “The Weekend” team on Saturdays and the Rev. Al Sharpton on Sundays.

Some sessions will allow selected members to join hosts by live video in addition to submitting questions through comments.

The Connect portion of the service includes moderated discussion areas covering news, individual MS NOW programs and broader interests such as books, faith, parenting, civic involvement and health. It will also serve as a streaming destination for MS NOW’s live events. “MS NOW Live: Together in Texas,” scheduled for Sept. 26, 2026, will be the first such event available through the membership.

Another part of the offering, called Breathe, moves beyond traditional news programming. MS NOW has partnered with Calm to provide guided meditations designed for use after consuming news, while contributors will produce programming dealing with subjects including mental health, relationships, medicine, caregiving and parenting. Contributors include Dan Harris, Nedra Glover Tawwab, Dr. Joel Bervell, Richard Lui and Dr. Ann-Louise Lockhart.

The membership debuted with several original programs available only to subscribers. Rachel Maddow hosts the monthly interview series “Rachel Maddow: In Conversation with …,” while Lawrence O’Donnell appears in the weekly “The Very Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell.” Ali Velshi hosts “Off the Charts with Ali Velshi” each Thursday, examining polling and voter data.

Other member-exclusive programs include “Political Potluck with Claire McCaskill,” featuring conversations with lawmakers and others across the Midwest, and “Answers with Andrew Weissmann,” a weekly program in which Weissmann responds to member questions about legal developments. MS NOW said the initial lineup will change over time as additional programs and experiences are introduced.
