Devlin Design Group and Clickspring Design have announced a strategic alliance to combine their capabilities across broadcast and media, workplace, branded environments, live events, and immersive experiences.

The companies said the collaboration was designed to address growing overlap among media, workplace, entertainment and experiential design. Joint operations are now active.

Both firms have backgrounds in broadcast and media design. The combined team will provide services spanning strategy and concept development, architecture, interior and scenic design, lighting, technology integration, project management, fabrication and implementation.

“We are thrilled to join forces with the exceptionally talented team at Clickspring Design. By pairing our agile, handcrafted design approach with Clickspring’s global experience and broader architectural and experiential capabilities, we can offer clients an extraordinary range of creative resources,” Dan Devlin, founder and CEO of Devlin Design Group, and Kartik Dakshinamoorthy, president, said in a joint statement.

Clickspring Design’s work includes media facilities, branded workplaces and consumer-facing destinations.

Devlin Design Group specializes in scenic design, lighting, fabrication and technology integration for news, sports, entertainment and corporate communications.

“Devlin Design Group is an ideal collaborator as we collectively look toward the future of media and experiential design,” Erik Ulfers, founder and CEO of Clickspring Design, said. “The traditional boundaries between broadcast, architecture, workplace, entertainment and branded experience are disappearing. Our complementary capabilities allow us to think beyond the set and consider the entire environment—how people work within it, how audiences experience it, how technology activates it and how the space communicates the client’s brand.”

The firms said the alliance will allow them to scale resources based on project requirements while retaining the involvement of senior creative leadership. Clients can engage the combined team for individual media projects or broader assignments involving workplace, branded interiors, experiential destinations, live events and integrated media environments.
