To stage left, up a short flight of stairs, is a platform with four stools backed with internally lit rings where the show’s “finalists” are seated and color coding is used to indicate who might be at risk of losing the “finalist” spot.

The ring element also makes an appearance in the in-show graphics, including as a sort of “portal” for the blue element that juts out through the center of the off-axis ring in the lower third.

The show’s graphics, ranging from the open to on-set video wall, also make generous use of a combination of monochromatic color schemes, light and metallic elements, which are also mirrored in the set design’s use of color and lighting.
