NBC News is, not surprisingly, heavily hyping the return of Hoda Kotb to the “Today” anchor desk with a promo.
In the spot, Kotb is shown on a vertical “selfie”-style video addressing viewers while photography of Kotb with the rest of the “Today” team, including co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker, Craig Melvin, Carson Daley and Dylan Dreyer.
Kotb returns to “Today” Sept. 3, 2019, the day after the long Labor Day holiday.
