CBS News 24/7, the CBS-owned FAST news streamer, debuted “CBS News 24/7 Prime Time” May 27, 2025.
The new show, anchored by Elizabeth Cook, is produced from KPIX in San Francisco at 4:30 p.m. Pacific time, which is 7:30 p.m. eastern, from the station’s extended reality studio.
The whip-around show uses a similar virtual environment as other CBS News productions that leverage the virtual facilities at the network and other CBS-owned stations across the country.
CBS previously introduced a primetime news show in 2022 titled “CBS News Prime Time,” hosted by John Dickerson. That program was later renamed “The Daily Report.”
The program joins the recent addition of “The Takeout with Major Garrett,” which airs at 5 p.m. eastern.
