Viviana Salinas lands at Telemundo Las Vegas after exiting market’s Univision station

Telemundo Las Vegas has named Viviana Salinas anchor of “Noticiero Telemundo Las Vegas” at 5, 5:30 and 6 p.m.
Salinas will make her on-air debut on KBLR on Monday, March 30, 2026.
Salinas has more than a decade of experience in Spanish-language media in the U.S. and Latin America, including more than two years in Las Vegas, according to NBCU. Most recently, appeared as an anchor with Univision Las Vegas, KINC. This included anchoring the morning and midday newscasts and contributing various reports to the station.
“Viviana is a proven journalist with strong live anchoring experience and a clear connection to the communities we serve,” said Johali Carmona, news director for Telemundo Las Vegas, in a statement. “Her versatility, newsroom experience and commitment to impactful storytelling make her a great addition to our anchor team, and we are excited to welcome her.”
Before moving to Vegas, Salinas worked as an anchor and host for Vision Latina TV in Los Angeles. There she led Spanish-language morning newscasts and hosted the daily talk show “Mañana Latina.” She has also worked as an anchor and reporter for Canal 63.1 in Los Angeles.
Salinas holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and television production from Universidad Central in Bogotá, Colombia.
