For the kickoff of a new media rights deal beginning with the 2024 season, ESPN created a unique visual identity and motion graphics package for its coverage of Southeastern Conference football on ABC.
The design centers around a “tunnel” motif, used in various broadcast elements like score bugs and insert graphics, to symbolize a gateway into the SEC experience.
The visual package also features amplified colors and enhanced 3D effects, aiming to create a dynamic and immersive viewing experience. Inspired by a 1990s ESPN college football theme, new theme music further distinguishes the “SEC on ABC” broadcasts.
